Ashley and Mike served a variety of desserts for their fun Barns at Wesleyan Hills wedding. This is a great way to give guests options and incorporate a theme or color scheme in different ways. For their tiered cake, Ashley and Mike selected Golden Cake with Lemon Curd and Raspberry Buttercream fillings. The cake was covered in blush pink and gold fondant and accented with gold sugar for extra sparkle. Pastels and metallics are at the top of the list for this season’s wedding trends, a theme that continued into Ashley and Mike’s cupcakes. These Lemon Curd, Cannoli, and Oreo cupcakes were displayed in sparkly blush pink and gold wrappers and topped with fun heart, flag, diamond, and monogram cupcake picks. Ashley also ordered a really fun Chocolate Peanut Butter groom’s cake for Mike. Not only was it delicious, but it also showcased Mike’s love of baseball and hockey and even featured their adorable bulldog, Stella!
