CT Style WTNH Segment- All About Wedding Cakes

This cake was for Jessie’s cousin.  So many great colors for a first birthday cake. This cake was delivered to Naugatuck, CT.

  St. Patrick’s Day Pot of Gold -  Green Velvet Cupcake with Bailey’s Irish Whipped Cream and Crisp Pearls, Frosted with Irish Cream Buttercream (Contains Alcohol) $3.50   St. Patrick’s Day Shamrocks – Chocolate Devil’s Food filled with chocolate ganache and frosted with Mint Buttercream $3.00

We created a replica of the Groom’s 2001 Mustang Bullet -  Lots of details! It was a funfetti cake with funfetti buttercream inside-

This was for Matthew’s 6th birthday party.  We used black fondant panels and blue fondant stars.  The characters were provided by the customer.  

It was so fun to plan this cake with Melissa.  We hand carved a bathtub out of cake and covered it with fondant.  Then we accented with fondant bubbles and polka dots.  The finishing touch was the adorable rubber duckies.

Black and White Damask Print on Vanilla French Buttercream with a pink Satin Ribbon.  This was for Megi’s Wedding Cake at Woodwinds.

This is probably our most unique wedding cake to date. Danielle wanted this as her centerpiece for her wedding.  We had so much fun making all the fondant accents…it reminded us of when we used to play the game when we were kids.

Gabriella really tested our skills this week when she requested a replica of a platform shoe made out of gumpaste. She planned a fabulous party for her cousin from out of state and covered every detail, even spikes on the shoe!!
